Date Entering Shortcuts

Can date short cuts be introduced to save time when entering a number of invoices/payments? It can be quite time consuming having to enter the full date every time.

Examples being:

4 - enters 4th of the current month

4/3 - enters 4th March of current year

+## - enters ## days from current date i.e. +30 enters 30 days from current date

t - enters today's date

I think this would be so much easier.

    Admin response

Hi Anthony, I have spoken to our developers about this and it appears that this functionality should already be present within the app and would therefore appear to not be functioning properly. This has been raised to be investigated. As far as entering +## to enter a certain amount of days from a current date, we are not currently looking at putting this into the application but will definitely be providing the other shortcuts mentioned shortly.

It would be amazing to see this implemented! When you're entering a week's worth of receipts, the time taken to enter the full date soon adds up! :-)

Great, cant wait to see. In Quickbooks you can also select the date format eg to use 10.05.15 or in sage you just enter number eg 100515 and it insets separators saving valuable time. Also if you want to enter in the american format year, month, date.
Is this now up and running?

Great, when entering dates to not have to put the forward slash in each time would be amazing, and I agree format of 23.10.16 and Kflow already has the dot or forward slash.
In Quickbooks you can chose your date format eg American, 2016 or just 16 etc.
Please put this to the top of the list.

Is there any update on this as this was 2015 and we are still entering the / for dates?
