The standard rate for mileage allowance is 45p per mile, but it is possible to claim an additional 5p per mile for each qualifying passenger. The feature update here is to not only be able to add a different rate, but multiple rates for different legs of the journey. eg. you might drive 10miles to pick up staff, then another 10 miles to the destination, therefore this is 10x45p+10x50p. It would be great therefore to be able to select postcode 1, postcode 2, then enter miles, then enter the rate of 45p, or 50p+ for that leg, then add additional legs within the same entry.
KashFlow's new Mileage module has been enhanced to cater for additional passengers but not multiple combinations in the same entry as per the specific requirement. You will have to log separate entries in case number of passengers change for a leg of journey
The mileage rates section also needs updating to cover electric vehicles as you cannot claim 45p per mile!
