Customer Portal - Allow customers to login and view their invoices, statements and payment history

Allow customers to "login" and see their invoices/statements/payments as a "self service" - they can login and see their outstanding invoices (with payment links), download historic invoices, and see statements etc...

    Admin Response

Thank you for your feedback on this functionality. We are currently looking at our multi user access permissions and will aim to include within this a read-only functionality to enable customers to login to view their details, statements etc. This is clearly a very popular functionality request and one that we will look at in more detail in the coming months. Daniel - this has been my whole experience with Kashflow for years too - they seem to focus on the wrong things (Like App Integrations with 3rd Party solutions you have to pay for) instead of focusing on what they need to (like the new REST API for developers, or the all-day-login session which took 2 years !!!)

I shall be leaving Kashflow at the next financial year end. They were great, but now they are not.

What is happening with regards to this feature its been a year

i have a concern i have chosen the wrong software the integrations development has seriously slowed almost to a stop i have been looking at other competitors and companies like Xero are nailing it every comment or response on here seems to have gone no where or the excuse of it will take massive amounts of re-coding to make the changes :-( even for things that seem simple like adding extra decimal places........ i have noticed a serious down hill spiral since joining with iris and i have been using kashflow for nearly 4 years

i rally don't want to have to change or train my staff again so i feel trapped

We have been asking for years for customer 'statements' to be available via the API -

It would be good to have an openspace button with kashflow to send invoices into openspace

any news on this? freshbooks does this and it would save me lots of time resending invoices to customers who allegedly didn't receive them/speed up payment etc

Small businesses need to be free from admin and concentrate in selling- which is what makes them survive in these difficult times

Brilliant idea. Many times customers call me requesting copies of invoices, etc. quick books has this feature and it's fantastic. Kashflow should be better than quickbooks?

Ditto, feels like Iris bought the company from Duane and left it to rot.  Such a shame. If it wasn't so difficult to move they would have lost a lot of users to Xero I think.  In fact, if Xero happened to build an automated import filter...

Phil, I'd be really interested to know what alternative solution you are looking at.  I've done a bit of research because I'm fed up of not being able to have multiple contacts for a customer - a basic feature that is essential.  I'd like to keep many of the features of Kashflow but the integrations are pretty useless to me.  Automatic reminders is one of the key features I need and also how to get data transfer to a new provider.

Let me be clear as it looks like KF have been lying here. This was NOT proposed on Jan 10 2017, it was proposed way back about 3 years ago by me, but it looks like they have reset ALL DATES to be "January 10, 2017 09:09"

We've been seriously considering building something like this out for some time. Might have to!

This would be ideal for our Business as well, but I can't even manage to get Kashflow to allow a Delivery Address and a Site Address on a Quotation, Invoice, Statement etc....

This would be extremely helpful.  It would save a lot of wasted time chasing late payers who cannot 'remember' what they owe or worse, those who argue about it.
