This might be a long shot, but it would be ideal for us.
If customers can convert their e-mailed quotation to an invoice by making a deposit or minimum. payment online - or even some type of "accept quote" button.
...with the option of setting the quote to expire by a certain date, or in some many hours/days, etc...
