Thank you for your feedback on this functionality. We are currently looking at our multi user access permissions and will aim to include within this a read-only functionality to enable customers to login to view their details, statements etc.
This is clearly a very popular functionality request and one that we will look at in more detail in the coming months.

Kashflow have been looking at this since January 2017. This would be an excellent idea to free up time and a great selling point against your competitors if they are not offering this functionality already.

i cannot agree less with Daniel, never seen a SaaS company building such a great project and then getting deluded or mis-guided to the wrong path !!
guys wake up , focus on main things , security, logs, view only, edit only, tagging users to view only certain clients invoices only etc. this helps client service managers to take some load off the accountants and not having to keep chasing the accountant if their client is asking to send an invoice urgently
i always hold my client service team responsible for sending quotes and chasing payments and if they cannot create single invoice or quote whats the point !!

really need this feature, but doesn't this feature helps the KF team to build the multi-user view only access first to accomplish this task ?, the below is what i just posted recently
I want our accountants to and other departments to great groups or atleast users with different permission
A financial controller might want to give read only view access to his junior accountant to build reports or download invoices and send to clients requesting for payment
sometimes some clients are big that i have to assign this client only to a client service manager who will be bale to not only sned quotes but also print invoices and send it to the clients he/she serves, i have 2 clients service agents who manage just 10 clients and i would like to give them access to these 10 client invoices and nothing else
we now use 2 people resources where we download each invoice by the senior management cos we cannot give access to other members simply becuase if the invoices are deleted or edited in erorr then its GONE !
i really need a fix and been asking this over a year, with new tax policy coming in soon I will have no choice but to move to zoho , quickbooks or xero
i love simplicity of KF so i hope this is released before dec 2018

This would be ideal for our Business as well, but I can't even manage to get Kashflow to allow a Delivery Address and a Site Address on a Quotation, Invoice, Statement etc....

Let me be clear as it looks like KF have been lying here. This was NOT proposed on Jan 10 2017, it was proposed way back about 3 years ago by me, but it looks like they have reset ALL DATES to be "January 10, 2017 09:09"

Phil, I'd be really interested to know what alternative solution you are looking at. I've done a bit of research because I'm fed up of not being able to have multiple contacts for a customer - a basic feature that is essential. I'd like to keep many of the features of Kashflow but the integrations are pretty useless to me. Automatic reminders is one of the key features I need and also how to get data transfer to a new provider.

Ditto, feels like Iris bought the company from Duane and left it to rot. Such a shame. If it wasn't so difficult to move they would have lost a lot of users to Xero I think. In fact, if Xero happened to build an automated import filter...

Brilliant idea. Many times customers call me requesting copies of invoices, etc. quick books has this feature and it's fantastic. Kashflow should be better than quickbooks?
