Verification of invoices received by customers required!

It was suggested that this was a good idea by support and that I add it to Canvas.

With the current system, Kashflow sends the customer an email out with a PDF attached. The problem with this is that due to the nature of antiquated email there is no way of knowing if the customer has received the email. They may have done, but still say they haven't and there is no way to know if that's true.

Likewise with a PDF, there is no feedback as to whether the customer has looked at it.

I have had too many customers who say they have not received invoices - yet I can't prove they have.

It would be a great addition if an Email could be sent from Kashflow to the customer, with a link to view their invoice online - the crucial part being that Kashflow notifies when the invoice has been clicked on/viewed by the customer.

Plus remove the PDF copy, so that the link has to be clicked on.

I understand other software packages offer this feature.

    Please can this be looked at. Being in retail we are constantly emailing new customers. I am foever being called to say they havent received their invoice. We advise them to check their junk folder (where most of them end up) we are now seeing far to many cases of this it taking up unnecesary time. I have taken to sending invoices from the print page because this seems to be the only way of guaranteeing they will receive it.

    Yes, something needs to be done. There are many New Ideas on this already on here, but nothing has been done.

    I am fed up with chasing non paying customers who claim they never received the Invoice to start with. I have 5 customers that their Invoices always go straight to Junk, but everytime they never check their junk! I have to send a seperate email reminding them to check their junk! CRAZY Others I have to email from the print page as that is the only way they receive the Invoice.

    Please Please Please can something be done.
