In Kashflow you can specify the payment method when you record a purchase. The choices are, credit card, debit card, cheque and ‘other'. However, you can’t specify ‘bank transfer’. There is only the catch-all category called ‘other’.
I was just remarking on that is seems an oversight by Kashflow not to have 'bank transfer' as a payment option as it’s common to pay bills directly, by standing order and direct debit.
Also 'cheque' is a default, but cheques are nearly extinct as a payment method.

Bank transfer is an option when taking payments, it should be listed by default on your options. If not please head to your settings area and payment methods, this will allow you to customise and also set your defaults.
