We currently have several candidates relating to the bank area within KashFlow (such as Open Banking) which will vastly improve your experience with KashFlow software. These first require implementation before we can look at introducing multi currency. Multi currency is an extremely large and complex job which touches all areas of the system and if we decide to implement it, we want to make sure we get it right first time. With that in mind we are implementing other improvements to the bank section and will then review multi currency bankfeeds & bank accounts again in the future. Thanks.
I am a micro business but yes I have multi-currency bank accounts. Being able to submit invoices in different currencies helps my business - but it seems odd that although you can do this in Kashflow, the payments still have to be received in a single currency.
This could be implemented quite easily by Kashflow converting the payments received on payment to your bank currency on the site.
Even as a tiny business, I have a multi-currency bank account. Without this functionality, I cannot use Kashflow so my business is lost.

A heavy +1 to this, I recognise the difficulty in retrofitting this, but it is a new and immediate need for my business. I have been very satisfied with Kashflow till now, but this might kill my ability to use it.
please please please - is there any updates on this ? we are getting to the point where we will be forced to move the competition. We want to streamline our admin processes and this just causes us to waste resources on admin when it should be automatic. Have there been any inroads made to sort this?
I won't lie that's very disappointing. We all thought this was on the roadmap, now it'll be years if every...
I think we all appreciate that this is a big job, but the priority must be at the top of new features - this is a basic requirement from so many business in 2019
We have been voting on this for years it is clearly too difficult - time to move to xero
Excellent - I hope this turns into reality!
What does 'Future Consideration' actually mean. Do I detect that this feature is being kicked down the road yet again? Given the number of votes on this shouldn't there be a more detailed explanation of KashFlow's position on this.
You just changed the status to future consideration??? You are supposed to be introducing this feature by the late 2019 as you stated below. How can you be considering it if you already planned to implement it?
Can you please explain what you mean with future consideration? We are waiting for an update from you on this since end 2018. (We are currently actively investigating how we can implement this feature into KashFlow and we will provide a further update towards the end of the year. Admin response 26 Oct 2018.)
The latest post from Kashflow on this much requested enhancement was "Hi, we are hoping to introduce Multi Currency Bank Accounts by late 2019. although this may be subject to change." So Kashflow peeps can you update us on the current position and whether late 2019 is, in fact, achievable?
"Hi, we are hoping to introduce Multi Currency Bank Accounts by late 2019. although this may be subject to change." So how are you getting on with the planning of this. Are you confident late 2019 will be achieved?
I also need some currencies that are not on the system Bosnian Mark being the key one, can this be added to my list of currencies ?
Will be acting on behalf of a client that deals mostly with the USA and EU and has multi-currencies bank accounts, if Kasflow does not implement this feature soon, VAT returns will show incorrect Nett figures when submitting them through MTD, and businesses will not be able to use this software when MTD for income/corporation tax is mandatory. Please consider improving your software so that more business will use it.
This is unacceptable that the feature multicurrency for bank feeds is not yet incorporated. This is a very simple task to do.
Not sure that will be great enough for us, already looking at moving.
@Julie Shepherd
Please can you ask the dev team to include the option to define how many decimal places a currency has. Cryptocurrencies can have up to 18 (although 10 should be enough). HMRC have published guidelines on how they are treated.
Thanks.
Hi, we are hoping to introduce Multi Currency Bank Accounts by late 2019. although this may be subject to change.
Ahh that’s a shame, we have had to seek an alternative system due to this. What is the development time?
Thanks,
