At the moment, if a sales or purchase invoice has been assigned to a project, any payment allocated against that invoice will automatically inherit the same project. Could you provide an example of the type of transaction you'd like to assign a project to when it's imported via a bank feed, and explain why the current behaviour doesn't meet your needs?
Understanding the specific use case will help us assess whether there's a gap in the existing functionality or whether a different approach would be needed.
