One of my clients has now taken on their own payroll. They have grown too big for it to be cost effective for it to be outsourced. When i try to send them the year to date information for them to import it into their own software i discovered that there is no suitable report to do this. With over 70 employees, the time taken to download all of the individual reports and merge them all into a usable report for the client was about 8 hours. All the P60's had to be downloaded as well for the national insurance earnings as well which then had to be manually typed in by my client. What would have been nice is a single report which could be downloaded as a csv to pass on to the client, saving me and my client hours of unnecessary work.
