I need to be able to make expense claims that are subject to NI but not TAX - currently I am not able to do this where as on other software such as Brightpay you can manually override ANY addition or deduction. This is proving to be very problematic. It is also very time consuming having to try and find possible solutions - that turn out not to work.

There are overrides for both NI and Tax in KashFlow Payroll which have existed for a couple of years. You can find them in the payslip items under Adjustments.
If these do not do what you want please let us know via here or the Support team and we will look into it to make sure you can do what you need.
