I wanted to enter a Fuel scale charge to my VAT return. I used VAT journals and was able o get the VAT amount to show in Box 1 but unfortunately the net amount didn't update box 6. I find this strange as both do need to be shown on the VAT return. Can mapping be amended to allow box 6 to be updated?
The status has changed to “released” but is the issue fixed?
We have a client on the margin scheme which I am aware Kashflow doesn't support. we calculate the margins on a separate spreadsheet and then edit box 7 on the VAT return figure submitted. With MTD from April 2019 we need to be able to edit box 7 on Kashflow as the return will need to be submitted through the software and no longer on HMRCs site. This is similar to being able to edit box 6 for the fuel scale charge.
