Being able to attach documents to vat returns would be really useful to prevent HMRC requesting documents in the event of a vat return check. for example, when claiming the vat for a large plant, machinery or vehicle purchase, it would be ideal to be able to attach the purchase invoices to the vat return so HMRC can have sight of this which would prevent them having to ask for them
