When I import from Paypal, new customers are created using codes such as José21 - but if I update their address, I am told the customer code is invalid. I then have to guess what number to put after Jose as there is no easy way of finding the next available number!
If it is ok for the PayPal import to create accented characters in the customer codes, why can't I do it manually?
Surely the better solution is to use a simple bit of logic in the paypal import to replace accented characters with the anglicised version.
