Our business offers multiple products, and we use comments on invoices to act as titles in separating them out. For example:

Unfortunately it is not possible to add comments via the bulk importer, which means that we have to forgo this and use a very long line item description instead. This long line item ruins the formatting of the invoice, making them appear untidy and unprofessional.
The alternative is to manually create each invoice (several hundred every quarter), which is what we have been doing until now due to significant growth in customer base.
The ability to add comment fields to invoices via bulk import would drastically improve a user's ability to format the appearance of the invoices.
