Financial reports automatically populate with current accounting period

When running the financial reports it would be most helpful if the start date and end date would populate with the current accounting period.

I would rather it stuck with the last date range entered. When we are doing year end accounts, it would be handy if it just remembered what we had put in last time. I have lost count the thousands of times I have to change the date range when doing accounts.
