A feature that automatically updates repeat invoices if you change the price in the sales code.

It would be great if there was a feature that automatically updates repeat invoices if you change the price of a product in the sales code. We produce over 1000 repeat invoices which then have to be manually changed every time a product price changes. This is very time consuming.

Hi Swish, Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion, we will take a look at this in our next development phase.

I see this is now Planned. Do you have an estimate of when?

My business runs on repeat invoices. This si such a pain to have to update each and every one when a product code could be changed and job done.

In answer to the Admin comment, I would like to see it update to the new product price. If a "special" price was added to the invoice then that's bad practice surely? A new product code should have been created and used for that invoice/customer.

When a product price is changed, would you like all existing repeat invoices to be automatically updated? Are there scenarios in which you would not want existing repeat invoices to be updated automatically, i.e. would there be a need to specify at the point of changing the product price whether or not you want existing repeat invoices to be updated?

Also consider the scenario where you create a repeat invoice using a product code but you amend the price within the line item rather than using the default price. In this scenario I would imagine you would not want such repeat invoices to be automatically updated when you change the product price since the repeat invoice did not use the default price when created?
