Ability to Import "Blocks" of Line Items or Other Quotes to Populate a New Quote

In my line of work the line items are used to build large plumbing systems. Typically every system is customised but is based on one of several base or generic systems that is tweaked slightly.

It would be very helpful if I could build a new quote and import another quote to start with. This would populate 90% of my items and I then only need to modify parts of it.

Ideally I would be able to build blocks or families of parts and import these as a group of line items. EG, If we took it as a shopping list we could import all ingredients to make an omelet as one group. instead of having to add all of the items from scratch each time.

    Hi Kevin, The best thing to do would be to build some template quotes in your system. These would contain all of the information that you need and can then be copied when you want to create a quote and convert to invoice. You can then leave these templates on your Quotes screen, marked with a new category of 'Template' and simply click the 'Copy' option in the top right hand corner when you wish to use that template.
