I you have more than ten customers, the drop down box will not display all customers but instead ask you to begin typing their name.

Once you have more than ten customers, the drop down box will not display all customers but instead ask you to begin typing their name. It would be much easier if a drop down list appeared under that letter of the alphabet.

    Admin response

Hi Jonathan, We implemented such a feature to aid performance within the app and after consultation with our users. It was found that those with a larger number of customers suffered longer loading times for such a list. Certainly, if you feel that this is not the case anymore we can certainly take another look should this request gain a number of votes.

Jonathan- I agree that this is frustrating, and have already contacted support directly to address this, as it seems like a very bad idea.

When you create a purchase, Kashflow presents a list of ALL suppliers and you can either choose to scroll through several hundred entries or you can start typing. The list is then filtered to show ANY supplier which contains the letters being typed.

For some of the lists in Kashflow (like selecting a product with a puchase / sales code), there is no option to scroll through the list and you have to know exactly what the product is looking is called, as as you type it only filters with products that START with the letters you type, not CONTAIN the letters you type.

I don't see why it's so difficult for people to scroll through 20 or 30 products, when it's ok to scroll through several hundred or thousand suppliers?

So I agree with you and hope we can get this changed - or at least modified to be consistent with the rest of Kashflow.
