I've checked the current behaviour and tested it in Microsoft Edge.
For me, when saving a packing slip, the default filename is generated as: 'Packing Slip-[InvoiceNumber]'
If you're seeing different behaviour, please let us know which browser you're using and provide an example of the filename being generated so we can investigate further.

I have just done this order and if you look the file name is still unreadable logically.
We want the invoice number as the file name which until a weel ago it did fine
