As a business we operate on hosted desktops with a static IP. We have existing applications that are locked down to our IP address meaning that staff access to the systems can only be obtained via the hosted desktop environment. Remove access to the hosted desktop environment will prevent access to ,ultiple applications containing personal or confidential information. Whitelisting IP or domain names would allow accountants to access the system remotely. This would help to prevent unauthorised access by ex-staff or unknown third parties from potentially gaining access to personal and/or confidential information held on Kashflow.
