All other transactions entered after a vat return has been submitted but within the vat return date range are brought forward so it make sense that journals (especially vat journals!) entered are brought forward too. It is only by accident that I noticed that they weren't being brought forward. After hearing the news a while ago that transactions would be brought forward I automatically assumed it would apply to all transactions.
