Send a Receipt

There is no way to manually send a receipt without generating an invoice first and adding payment but it is still called an invoice which will cause confusion to some of my customers. Can receipts be added to the manual options we have?

    Hi Ben

    A client has send me an example of an automatic receipt being sent to him by a supplier thanking him for his payment.

    There is an receipt (not a copy of the invoice with 'Paid' stamped on it) and a professional looking auto email.

    The supplier seems to be using Xero. IMO, you do need to be keeping up with your competition when it comes to offering options like this. Clients want to do the right thing (i.e. thank their customers for their payments) but need the process to be as time efficient as possible.

    I hope that this improvement is something that KashFlow can sort out.

    Usually the "rubber stamp" option in PDF Themes is enough for our customers to acknowledge the invoice is paid.

     

    Settings>>PDF Themes, Then under the PDF Theme you are using go to Images tab, two option;

    Stamps

     Include a 'Paid' stamp on paid Include an 'Overdue' stamp on overdue

     

    Although it would be nice to send a Remittance Advice / Receipt.
