Whilst the Kashflow PayPal App seems to handle importing customers names with accented characters and correctly creates an invoice with address details of say: "Pedro Jesús de Benito " in the customer details view, I see Pedro Jesús de Benito
This also affects the address fields and according to https://kashflow.ideas.aha.io/ideas/KFC-I-4 - product codes etc.
Even worse, is where i have a Russian customer, and all I see in my customer list is (for example) "Виталий Михальк&"
This makes the customer view unusable for many foreign customers....
It is even a really simple fix to do - Kashflow is obviously showing the accented characters in the bare html used to store them in the database instead of using them as HTML characters in the various views (compared to how this is handled in the invoice view for a given customer).
Oops - missed the screen shot
It is really disappointing that you do not see this as an issue.... Can you explain why this will not be implemented?
With more international customers and suppliers, it is impossible to know which customer is which when you see a customer list such as the attached screenshot. Oddly some foreign characters are now displaying correctly (see the third one down) - so what differentiates them?
This is a BUG in the system and easily rectified from a HTML point of view - you could even just anglicise the characters using a lookup to remove accented characters in the code.
