I don't know why you felt it necessary to close this role off to Sales people, but it's the one additional feature that would make the new multi-user functionality fully fit for purpose at our company.
I cannot see what the risk/problem is with this small addition. If a sale is successful, surely it would naturally lead to a new project which could be added by a salesperson?
