The ability to send the relevant invoices with a customer statement by email

I frequently need to send copy invoices along with statements to customers and they are increasingly preferring to receive these by email. I have been told that currently the functionality does not exist to do this. It is also really clunky when you want to send a couple of different invoices to a customer attached to one email. If this could be looked at that would be great, thanks!
