Submit EC Sales List independently from VAT Return (with option to submit together)

We have recently had EC Sales list submission problems and whilst trying to resolve, it became clear that EC Sales list submission deadline is actually 9 days earlier than the VAT submission deadline (when paying VAT by direct debit). It would be helpful to be able to submit the EC Sales list separately from the VAT submission when required.

    Hi Jim, Thanks for your feedback. If you would like, you can download the EC Sales List by selecting Print once the report is ran and submit this manually before the deadline? That would be a suggested workaround for now, if we do get a number of votes on this request we can look at building in a separate engine to automate the submission earlier.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    This is what we have done recently as the previous EC Sales submission was not received as part of our last VAT submission resulting in a penalty notice from HMRC (I raised a Kashflow support ticket for this and it has been addressed apparently). We have done another manual submission for this quarter and going forward, we will ask our accountant to complete our online VAT submissions in advance of the 21st of the month from the end of future VAT quarters to keep our noses clean with HMRC and also to let us test if the online submission problem has been corrected.

    I still think this EC Sales submission functionality would be useful to have in Kashflow, of course.
