Adding quotes to audit trail

We have recently had a couple of quotes deleted from our system by a user, and have no way of retreiving them as the backup doesn't include quotes. So I looked in the audit trail then contacted Kashflow support as we couldn't find reference to any quotes. The bad news they gave me was that once a quote is deleted it is gone for good, also the audit trail and backup functions don't make a record of them.

Please get quotes available in the audit trail or backup asap, we may have to look at other cloud accounting packages as this could become a major issue!

Hi Will, As a quote does not form part of your audit compliance we have included the option to remove them so as to enable our users to easily correct mistakes. I apologise that this is not a permanent record but there are no plans to amend this unfortunately
