At present there's a high level of reliance on javascript to open things like invoices, transactions, receipts, etc... from list views.
This makes it impossible to leave a page open with say a bank transaction listing and then right click to open a specific item in another tab/window.
The result instead is a lot of loading/reloading and a constant fight to locate where you last were on the list screen.
It's making the user do a lot of work, wait unnecessarily and I'm not entirely sure why Javascript is necessary to open the page as it's not even Ajax..
Perhaps another alternative/option is to provide a "preview" pop-out using jquery:colorbox or similar to provide the key information.
Hi guys,
Thank you for your patience regarding this issue. This has been raised by a number of our clients and is currently under review for future releases,

Agree this is bizarre from Kashflow. @Martin could we have clarification on why this won't be implemented?
Shakes head!
So this has just been cancelled then?
I've been having lots of issues with this, so I created a Chrome browser extension that makes it possible to open links in a new tab: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kashflow-open-in-new-tab/aahobacacnmmniiiiiidngccaengkmig
