Barcode Reader Integration

Can the system be adjusted to have a bar code reader, for 2 purposes, 1) for inputting stock when it comes in, for purchase invoice and 2) for creating a customer invoice quicker.
This will speed up the process of stock coming in and customer sales going out as well as better maintaining a more accurate record of stock in the system.
On the sales side, this could also be developed into a shop sales till as well, to remove the need for multiple systems and it would also open up new potential customers for the Kashflow system

Hi everyone, Do you have some suggested systems in mind that you currently use? We are looking at partnering with an existing add-on to introduce this functionality in our next release. What are you all using now?

I'll have to have a look at Quick Scan for this myself but am currently setting up Nano Inventory for our barcode scanning

Might be worth seeing if the guys behind Nano Inventory can help as this seems more suitable to Kashflow than Quick Scan.

I use an iPhone barcode inventory app called, funnily enough Inventory. It is made by Starkode and works really well but I would love to integrate it with Kashflow.

Using a handheld scanner

Merged
Many businesses use handheld barcode scanners to scan barcodes for stock control. We're finding clients enquiring if Kashflow could utilise scanners to deduct items from stock when sold. At the moment the answer is no, but it would be a useful add...
