Online Filing of Corporation Tax

HMRC are now asking for iXBRL compatible files when submitting corporation tax. An automated link from Kashfow would be ideal, but suspect this is a bit more complicated than the VAT submission module, but the ability to export to iXBRL format would be a useful addition.

Thanks for your suggestion. This is not something that we are looking at for now, for a couple of reasons; This would be a huge rebuilding of the module IRIS already offers an iXBRL product to the market We will however be working upon a fully integrated cloud suite that will involve integration between iXBRL in IRIS and KashFlow over the next couple of years KashFlow Product Team

It is unacceptable that Kashflow does not provide iXBRL accounts export.

    Why?

Because as a Micro Entity exporting to Europe with Foreign Currency transactions I can NOT use the HMRC online filing service. Meaning that I have to use an alternative service that does online submission of both Self assessment and Corporation tax. Most of these services REQUIRE accounts provided in iXBRL format.

I signed up for Kashflow because it was lauded as great for small businesses ...... but if it doesnt provide iXBRL then it is useless for many companies.

Currently my only option is to choose another vendor and redo my account manually.

When it becomes more widely know that anyone with foreign currency transactions cant use HMRC service they will stop using Kashflow!!!
